Cooking with Blearning! Lemon Cake :)
Hoy os contamos cómo preparar un bizcocho de limón, ¡queda riquísimo! Y como la receta es muy fácil, para complicarlo un poco, os la vamos a contar en inglés, así utilizaremos muchas expresiones que conviene aprender, sobre todo, linking words. Let´s go!
Here you can find all the ingredients and kitchen utensils you are going to need:
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 lemon
- 1 natural yoghurt
- 15 gms yeast/baking powder
- 200 gms all purpose flour
- 150 gms white sugar or sweetener
- 30 gms icing sugar
- A dash of salt
- Butter
- A bowl
- A wood spoon or a spatula
- A grater
- A baking bowl
- A mixer
First of all, preheat oven to 180º degrees
Step 1: Secondly, grate the lemon rind in the bowl
Step 2: After, put the flour inside the bowl
Step 3: Now, add the 3 eggs, the sugar and the salt into the bowl
Step 4: And then, stir together all of these ingredients with the spoon until blended (mixed thoroughly)
Step 5: This is how the mixture should look
Step 6: After that, add the yoghurt and mix all again. Very important: the yoghurt cannot be skimmed.
Step 7: Next, add the oil little by little and stir at the same time
Step 8: And finally, add the yeast. Mix everything well. To stir you can use a spoon or a mixer to avoid lumps.
Step 9: Butter the sides of the bowl to prevent sticking and then pour the mixture into the bowl.
Step 10: Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Step 11: After this time, take it out carefully, leave it to cool and it’s ready!
