Cooking with Blearning! Pizza :)
La pizza es una de las comidas que más gusta a todos y que admite muchas variaciones. A algunos, les gusta llena de ingredientes, a otros, todo lo contrario; a algunos picantes, a otros, mezcla de dulce y salado; masa fina o masa gruesa, con o sin bordes … en fin, hay muchas posibilidades, pero, sea como sea, está riquísima y es una receta muy fácil de hacer con los niños.
Para que practiques más inglés, te vamos a contar cómo hacer masa de pizza pero, si tienes poco tiempo, puedes utilizar masas ya preparadas refrigeradas o incluso, si no tienes masa de pizza, puedes utilizar pan de molde como sustitutivo y te puede sacar de más de un apuro. Allá vamos.
Ingredients
for 8 servings
- 300 ml warm water
- 440 g all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- Tomato Sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Toppings your choice: ham, mushrooms, any other cheese, pepperoni, pineapple, olives, tomatos, sausages, etc.
- STEP 1
Tip the flour into a bowl, then stir in the yeast and the salt. Make a well in the centre and pour in 200ml warm water (make sure it’s not too hot) along with the oil. Stir together with a wooden spoon until you have a soft, fairly wet dough.
- STEP 2
Tip the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 mins until smooth. Cover with a tea towel and set aside for an hour or so or until the dough has puffed up and doubled in size. You can also leave the rough, unkneaded dough in the bowl, cover with a tea towel and leave in the fridge overnight and the dough will continue to prove on its own.
- STEP 3
Once the dough has risen, knead it quickly in the bowl to knock it back, then tip out onto a lightly floured surface and cut into two balls. Roll out each ball into a large teardrop that is very thin and about 25cm across.
- STEP 4
Heat oven to 240C/220C during 20 minutes. Meanwhile, spread the tomato sauce over the base with the back of a spoon. Scatter the mozzarella, and add any topping of your preference.
Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 8-10 mins until crisp. And… enjoy!!!
